Welcome to MOVER
MOVER is a mobility project funded by the European Commission Under the Erasmus Mundus programme, Action 2.
The aim of MOVER is to contribute to the Third Countries' challenges, as posed in their national plans of development, by upgrading the students and the staff academic level (particularly at postgraduate level) and to promote the design of joint degrees between the EU and the TC partners while encouraging the emergence of new ones in the TC institutions.
The partnership is coordinated by the University of Murcia, Spain, and composed by a Consortium of 23 Universities including Partners and Associates in Asia and Europe, one associate network, two NGOs and other associates. A total mobility of 115 individuals will be involved in educational and training activities from Asia to Europe.
Who can apply?
There are three target groups for individual mobility flows and five different types of individual mobility for students and staff.
Countries of individuals participating in mobility are China, Cambodia, The Philippines, Laos Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam e India. Only third-countries of the lot concerned
Target Group 1
Beneficiaries : Nationals of the third-countries concerned by the geographical lot who are registered in one of the third-country HEIs that is a member of the partnership.
Type of mobility : Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate, Post-doctorate, Staff.
Target Group 2
Beneficiaries : Nationals of the third-countries concerned by the geographical lot, who are registered in a higher education institution of these countries that is not included in the partnership, or who have obtained a university degree or equivalent by an institution of these countries. This includes the possibility of providing mobility opportunities to third-country nationals working in public administration, public and private enterprises.
Type of mobility : Master, Doctorate, Post-doctorate.
Target Group 3
Beneficiaries : Nationals of the third-countries concerned by the geographical lot who are in particularly vulnerable situations, for social and political reasons. For example:
1) having a refugee status or asylum beneficiaries (international or according to the national legislation of one of the European recipient countries) or
2) it can be proved that they have been the object of unjustified expulsion from university on racial, ethnic, religious, political, gender or sexual inclination or
3) they belong to an indigenous population targeted by a specific national policy or IDPs ( Interrnally Displaced persons)
Type of mobility : Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate, Post-doctorate.
Scholarships
Host partners must provide incoming students and academic staff with the whole subsistence allowance defined in the call for the type of mobility and target group concerned.

The Partner will inform the students/academic staff that subsistence allowances will be paid according to the exact period of stay (month or fraction of month) and the amount to be paid will be calculated accordingly
Deadline for the Application
Launch of the call: 15th December 2012 till 1st March 2013
Submission of the lists of scholarship holders to the European Commission: 15 days before the mobility starts and at latest 1st September 2013
Mobility starting on: 1st September to 31st December 2013 at latest
