Mission
The cooperation aims to:
- Promote access to information and resources such as reading materials and internet-based information linked to the Library database of the French Cultural Institute "Culturethèque" and "IFprofs."
- Enhance the capacity of teachers and students to use the French language and apply new technology to academic and professional work by organizing practical training for teachers, French language activities, computer-related activities, and practicing the French language through the internet.
- Expand activities that promote francophone work by contributing to the development of international projects for inclusion in the weekly France Phone event.
- Serve as an operator of the National University, coordinating support and providing instruction in the French language across various subjects. This coordination aims to align with the French Language Program, support training efforts, and organize vocational activities.
The Francophone Center is located at the Dong Dok Campus, the National University of Laos. It will be a model structure for students and professors who use the French language at NUOL. According to this direction, the Francophone Center will provide training for teachers, languages and IT, which will help contribute to the development of education and economy of the nation.
The Francophone Center has conduct socio-educational activities within the framework of Francophone work to link with the departments who use French language in the National University of Laos.
