The annual scholarship programme for foreign citizens offered by Romaniaย 
, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, based on Government Decision no. 288/1993 for the 2025-2026 academic year has now been launchedย 
ย Each year, scholarship opportunities are offered to non-European Union students for Bachelorโs, Masterโs and PhD degrees at leading higher education institutions in Romania, with the exception of Medicine, Dental Medicine, and Pharmacy.ย ย As a way of promoting cultural exchanges and the Romanian language and culture, the undergraduate and Master's programs would be in Romanianย , with a preparatory year for the study of the language prior to the university studies to be granted to those who do not speak the language.
