The annual scholarship programme for foreign citizens offered by Romania 
, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, based on Government Decision no. 288/1993 for the 2025-2026 academic year has now been launched 
Each year, scholarship opportunities are offered to non-European Union students for Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degrees at leading higher education institutions in Romania, with the exception of Medicine, Dental Medicine, and Pharmacy. As a way of promoting cultural exchanges and the Romanian language and culture, the undergraduate and Master's programs would be in Romanian , with a preparatory year for the study of the language prior to the university studies to be granted to those who do not speak the language. However, at PhD level, applicants can also opt for a program in English or a foreign language set by the doctoral school. Only applications submitted directly through this website will be taken into consideration. On ?? ???? ????, all applicants will be informed about the outcome of the selection process through an evaluation result email. Non-European Union students are encouraged to apply.
