The Faculty of Education, National Univeristy of Laos has participated in the CALOHEA project since 2021. The project’s main purpose is to enhance higher education quality which is comparable to other higher education institutions in Southeast Asia. It also aims to foster internalization of education and student mobility. The project is useful for the revision and enhancement of the teacher education programs in terms curriculum framework, learning outcomes, measuring student workload, and authentic assessment. It is also useful for student teachers in the English program in terms of awareness and significance of designing and incorporating authentic tasks in language teaching and learning. Furthermore, the teachers also benefited from mechanisms through participating in the National Meeting and dissemination tasks. In the picture students are learning about how to incorporate Authentic tasks in language teaching at the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Education, National University of Laos.
